Washington DC Vacation
Our nation's capitol has lots of great attractions to visit. These attractions include monuments and memorials like the Washington Monument, and the Lincoln Memorial, there are world class museums like the National Air and Space Museum and the National Gallery of art, the Smithsonian Zoo located in Northwest DC is a real treat to visit, also Washington has, a wide variety of restaurants and events on the National Mall and at the Kennedy Center. My first article is on the Most Popular Washington DC Monuments. I find visiting these monument on the National Mall both inspiring and relaxing. These monuments and memorials are all located in about a 1.5 mile square and can all be visited in one day with a walking tour. Now it is a lot of walking but it is in a spectacular setting and well worth it.
